Bolivian Ram? #1
Spotted these in my Lfs,

Thought at 1st they were large mature Bolivian balloon rams But now they have balloon rams next to them I am not too sure now, They don't seem as balloon as the others

They are about 3 inches in length, fairly bulky compared to my sisters German rams, are Bolivians chunkier they seem and very chilled out compared to the other rams,

Now the pic is a slight angle so looks a little stumpy

They seem not as stumpy as balloon rams I have seen, these look like mini geophagus with bigger eyes

I have never seen a fully grown Bolivian ram so really have nothing to compare to,

After trawling the net I am starting to think they are just, Bolivian rams

Soo what do we think,

Another looks stumpy due to the camera angle

Yes, those are standard Bolivians. I didn't know here was a balloon version of the Bolivian. Have seen balloon variants of GBR and EBGR. .... not keen on any of the balloon fish TBH.
