Hello again! you'll all be sick of me soon lol!

We've been planning a pond for a while now, plan is 2ft below ground and 2ft above. After doing some research we decided to build it with concrete blocks. Now we haven't brought the blocks yet, we've just finished the planning really but my other half has come home tonight and said that a pond built with concrete blocks is liable to the walls collapsing! apparantly someone has told him that concrete blocks are not to be used for a pond.. now i am confused!

anybody got any suggestions about the concrete blocks?!?!

Well, you can not only tell your other half that you can use concrete blocks, but you can now show him too.

Do note, the blocks are on their side if it's a big pool.

I've just shown him and he feels much happier about it now. I think he had visions of it all collapsing around him.

Hi. I built my pond this summer out of block laid on is side and its the first thing i have ever built anything out of block and it was fairly easy. Sounds like you have a good plan so good luck.
