Re: Goldfish washed up at footie club #2
Who says god doesn't work in mysterious ways.

Who would have thought.

Hope they get kept in a tank and not a bowl.

Goldy I nominate you to send an email to Carlisle Football club to offer them some advice on how to best look after the fish. LOL

It was in the Express yesterday.

The woman who found them said something like "I cant believe they had survived being in that muddy water"

This ones a bit ridiculus since catfish are not going to be 200 years old in this country and deffinately wont attain 16ft in our climate. Its more likely an illegal import thats got dumped or escaped from another venue.
And while they may occasionally take small ducks from the surface it is seriously unlikely to take a swan or even try.

Sounds like we need Admin to add a news section to the site or start a new thread. Fish in the news.

LOL

A career in investigative journalism for your daughter me thinks.

Re: Goldfish washed up at footie club #9
A fish going after swans. Would most likely be a Pike I would have thought.

Good that she is interested in things like that.

I still think we should email the club. Could turn out good publicity for the site. What do you think?

Maybe, but there's no saying they would listen to us
