Brackish is like a mixture of marine and freshwater. Basically a brackish natural environment would be an estuary or mangrove swamp or anywhere where a river flows into a sea

Aaah! Thanks, I was just nebbing, but as not many people seem to have one, it's difficult to glean information by peoples posts.

Thanks fishy-fishy!!

Well there aren't that many truly brackish fish. There's a really good article in PFK this month about brackish fish, it's worth a read.

Thanks everyone, you've helped to educate the uneducated.

I know it's annoying when people like me ask you daft questions, but you know, I wouldn't sleep all night and would flood the site with silly questions

Thanks anyhoo.
