What pressure filter? #1
I've recently moved into a new house with a pond but the previous owner took the filter system with them. I've been doing a bit of research and have narrowed it down to 2 models. Not sure if the Filtoclear is worth the extra money?

A filter needs to be able to cope with the entire pond volume, and fish stock, so long as it can, it is up to you which you buy. You will also need a filter pump, capable of pumping the pond water to the filter as well as a UV.

In your case both kits come with pump and UV, one has an 11w UV the other a 24w UV

Thank you. I think I will go with the larger model to give me that extra head room https://www.thatpondguy.co.uk/product/oase-filtoclear-19000-set-oc/

I Just looked, you can get that set elsewhere cheaper, and while you are looking get a cheaper better filter too. "Bucket filters" are good at first but they soon become clogged even for the "lift it handles" to cope with and if you snap a lift it support rod/bar you can not get spares. You don't get that problem with a box filter.
