Help! #1

I have 1 black moor,
Tank is 7.5 weeks old this week, we bought the black moor on Sunday. For the last 2 days I’ve noticed him acting slightly off as in not swimming so much and upon further investigation, he’s developed a white / grey patching all over him. No spots, just larger patches from mouth to fin.
He is eating and does swim around but just not 100% himself.

Apologies for only seeing this message now, and many thanks for helpfully providing a comprehensive background.

I would treat for velvet/slime disease such as eSHa Exit or Waterlife Protozin.

Keep us posted.

Hey, thanks so much for getting back to me.
I went straight to the pet store upon seeing your message and they did not have your mentioned products but they did have API whitespot treatment .. I have given the first dose of this tonight and should hopefully see an improvement after the second dose. Hope we have a happy goldie back soon?
