New Juwel 180l Rio - fish mix recommends #1
Hi All, I hope you can help. I am in the midst of my fish free cycle and learning lots as I go. I had my heart set on a couple of discus and angels with cardinal tetras which my local aquarist said was fine, learning on how big they grow I wasn't so sure and have since found out that the tank isn't large enough so I am back to the start with my fish choices.

I defo want a good shoal of Cardinal Tetras, just love the bright flashes and they have lovely childhood memories for me, so could you recommend others to go with them, including some good cleaners please?

I have a planted aquarium with substrate and not sand.
no judging my planting skills please I had a few issues with the grass floating :(

I have also have a co2 system and an external Oase Filtosmart 300

thanks in advance :)

Hi

To recommend fish we need to know the parameters of your local tap water. pH, gH, and kH. You can test for these, and I recommend leaving a sample out for 24 hours before testing pH as it is often altered in the supply by the supplier with the chemicals used to make the alteration gassing off over 24 hours which is when you'll get a true reading.
