Aquarium Air Pump Failure Alert #1
Hi Guys,
Every so often the airline pops off of my aquarium air pump and I'm only made aware of if when I see my fish gasping at the water surface.

I have tried using the pipe spring clips that are available but the "popping off" still seems to occur no matter what manufacturer of air pump or clips that I utilize.

My question is whether anyone is aware of an Air Pump Failure Alert system in the market, ideally this would fit inline with the airline and monitor for a loss of flow then alert either audibly or via an App for example.

I have searched but could not find anything myself.

Thanks in advance

I did a search and found this, but it's not cheap: https://www.koilogic.co.uk/et-air-pump-alarm/p1470

Re: Aquarium Air Pump Failure Alert #3
I can't help but wonder would it not be better to ask WHY the hose/airline comes off as opposed to what to do to stop it.
With that in mind (Obviously I can't see anything from this end of a keyboard) Is the air pressure too high, or is the "air stone" blocked/partially blocked? Either would cause a rise in back pressure, leading to the afore mentioned problem.
Another suggestion would be to have more than 1 "air stone" from the same hose/airline.
