tennis ball goldfish now upside down and not feeding
Hi. We have about 9000 litre pond with 23 goldfish 6 to 8 inches long. one has swollen up so it looks like a tennis ball with a tail, and now it wont eat and spends its time upside down in a corner. should i euthanize it or is there a way to fix it? thanks in advance

I think it would be worth doing an Epsom salt bath/dip by lifting out the fish and placing it in a tank/tub to do so. Unperfumed Epsom salts (magnesium sulphate) can help reduce bloating by drawing excess fluid out of the fish's body.
There is no guarantee that the Epsom salt bath/dip will work, especially if the bloating is caused by an underlying infection, and it may be that it's too late to work, but definitely worth a try, in my opinion.
