There seems to be a lot of debate as to which brand makes the best dried cichlid food, with Hikari, New Life Spectrum and Omega One being promoted as the superior brands. I've only ever used Hikari sinking pellets but was thinking of trying one of the other two to use as an alternative to Hikari every other day to give my africans a bit more variety in their diet. New Life spectrum (whether true or not) promote superior colouring compared to the other two but a few reviews I've read say it's quite a messy food and makes the water quality deteriorate more quickly. Does anyone on here use NLS? Just looking for your views on what brand you prefer or find best to use.
