Going for more shrimp in a 45l tank #1
So I have a 45l tank.... Im thinking about keeping some other shrimp than just red cherry. I understand that keeping Cardina shrimps can be challenge so any advice is really appreciated.

I have a Hanging Filter ready and will set up the tank next Monday, cycling process should be fast as I will use some media from cycled filter.

Now, about stocking.

I have my mind on black shrimps, so I will go with either Black Tiger Shrimp or Black Bee Shrimp.

My water pH is 7.5 and hardness is only 2d. The readings are not ideal for both shrimps but seems more fit for black tiger (which require alkaline water but tolerate wide range of hardness)

The tank temperature will be from 24-27C max (This is, however, is more suited for bee shrimps)

So any idea which is the better choice? Both seem to be pretty hard to keep but I think I should give some hard specie a try as I feel confident with my experience.

Thanks

Re: Going for more shrimp in a 45l tank #2
So I've decided to give black shrimps a go.... Any idea what color of background paper would work best? I use white sand as substrate already.
