Save the goldfish #1
Came across this petition
www.change.org/en-GB/petitions/goldfish-petition

It's about giving goldfish away as prizes. Apparently it's still legal in England and Wales.

Re: Save the goldfish #5
I always thought it wasn't allowed and even quizzed some lady about it at a fair in the summer, her reply was that it was allowed but the do_gooders didn't like it as she jiggled a bag with a pale looking fish in it at me!

Re: Save the goldfish #6
That's awful! I don't think you see it as much anymore because most councils don't allow it on their grounds but it is still legal to do I don't know why Scotland have banned it and England/Wales hasn't, very odd. Thank you to everyone who has signed!

Re: Save the goldfish #7
I agree, how ridiculous that it still goes on. It's just typical of the way the world sees animals - they are just a commodity to a lot of people, not actually living things like humans are.
Petition signed.
