Bi orb #1
Can I use a bio orb for cherry shrimps?

There's someone selling one but it has 5 large gold fish in it!

What size is it CB?

The really wee, small one (without going on line and checking) is something like 15 litres, next one up 30 litres, I think

15 litres is do-able for a shrimp only set up though.

OMG that has effectively no filtration as it has not got the ceramic media for the UGF-type filtration, there is presumably just a small sponge and some zeolite in the cartridge
That could be the 30 or the 60L

Re: Bi orb #5
She found the box its the 60L so its going to be quite a bargain at just ?30 and the big bonus of me saving the 5 goldfish from what is presumably fish hell.

I will just take the fish into work and put them in a QT tank.

I'm going to strip the tank clean it and re set it back up as a red cherry shrimp tank where hopefully I can get a breeding colony going :)

Nice one, well done

On the shrimp front, you could try the marketplace on the PFK forum, there's sometimes some for sale there. You can post 'wanted' threads there too so you might get some luck
