Fish ID Request #1
Four years ago we decided to have another go at sorting the garden pond. After getting filtration and aeration fixed we put a starting group of - 2 Blue Orfe, 2 Tench, 2 Goldfish and 2 Shubunkin. Last year we found some new fish - the pink and gold ones in the attached image. Are these Goldfish or a Goldfish Shubunkin cross?

This year we have a lot of young fish - mainly the ones that look like black Goldfish. Are these Goldfish, or something else? Will they become golden as they grow?

Oh, we've also added two small Shubunkin - one of which is in the photo - and three comets.

Any advice on the ID of the pink/gold and black ones will be most excellent.

Re: Fish ID Request #2
They will be goldfish - shubunkin is just a variant of a goldfish and is the same species. Baby goldfish are black and usually change colour as they grow so the young are most likely to be goldfish too. Comets are also a variant of goldfish and the same species again, so your plain goldfish, shubunkins and comets are all the same species and will breed together.
