How do I start up APS filter after a water change? #1
Here's the situation:

I have almost completed a water change but I am having trouble starting up my external filter as this is the first time I have attended to its media since having it. Which leads me to my question, how do I start it up again? (I cannot understand the chinglish instructions)

Thanks in advance!
Ghost.

The filter is an All Pond Solutions 1000EF

Hi

I've PM'd another member who I know has one of these so if he's online today I expect he'll pop in and advise.

They are a proper pain to get started. I fill the cannister with water, get on my knees and pump the grey button as vigorously as possible. Soooo undignified XD

My 1000EF will self prime as long as you fill the input tube with water. I fill the canister 90% flip the pipe block on, then fill the input tube from a watering can and put it all together. Release the pipe block, give the plunger a couple of pumps and switch on.

Propper job
