Do Shrimp need to be quarantined? #1
Just wondered if shrimp need quarantining? Ive had a bit of a Google but no definitive answer.

If they've come from a shrimp only set up then no they don't. If they've been kept with fish it's worth quarantining them as though they are not susceptible to most fish diseases, they could carry parasites into your tank from their point of origin. A period of quarantine will ensure that any hitch-hiking parasites die off from lack of a host before the shrimps are moved into your main tank.
