shrimp food? avoid copper?? #1
ive got myself a tad confused..

Need to get my shrimp some food as ive had them a week now , theyve been eating my pleco waffers but not ertain if they are getting enough or not.

anyway ive read onfliting advice..

Copper and shrimp a big nono it will kill them.
and also copper is essentail for shrimps blood regeneration?

so which is it? what do i buy?

You just need to avoid copper in the water - meds based around copper, copper containers and so on. Dietary copper is chemically different and not a problem as a component of foods. You can buy shrimp specific foods if you choose to - such as Hikari Shrimp Cuisine, but in a community tank they'll do fine on left over fish food, algae wafers and fresh veggies.
