Help Needed #1
I need some advice regarding my 180lt tropical freshwater tank.

I?ve got about 24 fish (listed below) in it but most of the fish hide away. Can you recommend any compatible fish from South America to bring it to life?

1 x Farlowella vittata - Twig Catfish at 5.5 inches

1 x Megalechis thoracata - Spotted Hoplo at 2.5 inches

2 x Corydoras panda - Panda Cory at 1 inches

12-15 x Hyphessobrycon griemi - Griem's Tetra at 1 inch

3 x Paracheirodon innesi - Neon Tetra at 1 inch

2 x Anostomus anostomus - Striped Anostomus at 4 inches

Thanks
Stephen

Not my area, but straight off I'd say more cories and neons, they need to be in groups of at least 6 and the happier they are the more you will see them
(have not worked out your stocking level though)

Re: Help Needed #8

You really need to get a liquid test kit e.g. this one

(that's a good price from a reputable seller)

It could be fish are subdued because the water conditions are not right ...

Re: Help Needed #9
Could you go on your waterboards website and find out? Normally they have a bit where you can type in your postcode and see what your water is like.

Essex is meant to have hard water though if i'm not mistaken?

Re: Help Needed #10
I've just checked on the waterboards website and yep it looks as if I have hard water. 95-130 mg/l as Ca. Although I do wonder if the bog wood would lower it?
