Bubbles the Hamsters new home #1
Sooo i could not resist, i decide Bubbles house was too small, which i knew anyway..

Now i had three options
I have a spare 180ltr tank i had, the wife would have gone mental if i put it in the house, its going in her office in the garage, cold water ;-o oooohhhhh,

self build using storage boxes,

or 117ltr tank i had going spare, went with this option..

here are the results..i hope you like

I must say all that deep luxurious bedding looks very tempting "...big yawn and stretch". Lucky hamster

How is hammy liking his new cage and how are you finding cleaning it
In the photo you can just see the hamster cage below the old fish tank we still have it so there maybe a new addition to the family watch this space

Re: Bubbles the Hamsters new home #8
Am thinking about turning my spare 60litre tank into a home for a hamster, will that be big enough? Haven't had hamsters for years but they are so cute, so may do it if the tank is big enough.
Note to self: must not buy anymore tanks
