What About a 2011 Competition #1
I was thinking that we should have a 2011 competition ive seen old posts that were a great success like the nano tank competition.

Any ideas for what the competition could be about? What sort of thing would you like to have a go at?

How about a credit crunch one where you have to set up a tank on the tiniest budget possible? That way we could all contribute some good money saving tips.

I've been trying to do that for the last 5 months or so. It's not gone well

How about setting up a tank (max 3L) with only ?10 and try a re cycle as much as you can.

The tank wont have fish in just plants t least 1 type...

Yep. I thought using my very old tank rather than buying a new one would save a lot of money but new filter new pump new lightbulb new heater new stand later think I should have just bought a new package

I've had a quick look at the micro tank thread and gallery and I have to admit it does look fun and the tanks people came up with look great, although I guess people who did it the first time wouldn't fancy it again.

True and we could do pico tank instead with a 500ml limit to make it harder I actually think it's a good idea of yours, I just measured a nice glass I have and it's 400ml
