Bullied Goldfish #1
I've bought some new goldfish today to stock up my pond as it is rather under occuped. Its 10 ft diameter round and meter and half deep and all it had so far is 5 small comets, 5 small shubukins and 5 larger orfes.

Anyway I've released the goldfish, 4 small ones and 3 larger but not too large (2half inches) and the smaller established fish now won't leave them alone. They are chasing them around the pond very close to their bodies very fast.

Will it calm down or will my goldfish get stress now

I've put some more food in and some of that dried bloodworm to try and make them happier.

Re: Bullied Goldfish #2
Hi,

Very rarely its due to terrority, could be down to two reasons in my opinion;

1) the fish are ill and the other fish are trying to get the other fish to move away

2) it could be that the fish are breeding and the fish being chassed are females

See how they get on the next few days

Re: Bullied Goldfish #3
Thanks for that, I got the fish from a good garden centre and my other fish all seemed very happy until the invaders so lets just hope they are just frisky then and they either get their way or a headache soon.

I never realised keeping fish could be so stressful!!!!!
