Feeding my nano tank #1
I have added a couple of new fish to my tank and am struggling to work out exactly what to feed them.

I orignally had 2 X clown fish. I fed them once a day, primarily on JBL MariPearls which I have been told were quite good. I often alternate these with frozen Mysis shrimp.

I have now added 1 X green clown goby, a yellow goby and a fire dartfish.

The MariPearls seen to be to big for them and so does a lot of frozen food (they only pick out the tiny bits) - are flakes the way forward till they get a bit bigger?

frozen mysis is good and frozen brine. i defrost about half a block in some tank water and feed my fish about 2 or 3 times a week.

Re: Feeding my nano tank #3
the same for my smaller fish, i always drain the defrost water for fear so much nitrates and phosphates come into the tank with it.
I also feed with flakes and turn the pumps for ten minuts at this moment so that I can choose where the flakes are going, and to be more precise, I give them with a tool.
the excess is then consumed by all the clean up crew : hermit crabs, shrimps, serpent starfish, snails. etc.

I rotate my food quite a lot.

Flake, mysis, brineshrimp, bloodworm, krill, plankton.
