My shrimp are surviving, 1 at least #1
Hi, after some recommendations off here I bought a few shrimp, I got 5 for a tenner.

They are white and transparent and obvioulsy being so small, they're almost impossible to spot in the planted tank.

After not seeing any for a week I assumed they must have either died due to being out competed for food or were considered food by the fish......

...........

I was wrong, 1 of them at least is still alive, it's living on the Betta filter sponge, it's cleaning off the little bits.

shrimp will find tons of food that would be missed by fish. what fish are they? are they capable of eating the shrimp? shrimp are sensitive, and sometimes dont cope witha a change of tank too well. do you know what species of shrimp you have bought?

also shrimp are very good at hiding, i have a large colony of red cherry shrimp in one planted tank and they are difficult to spot many at once and they are bright red

They're in my Betta tank, the Betta's pretty docile, he rarely ventures to the lower depths of the tank.

I'm not sure what the shrimp are, they were sold as Ammano shrimp.

I've seen them all now, they were all on the betta filter.

They've turned brown and have at least doubled in size.
