What Snail??? #1
Hey guys,

Some of you may remember me posting about some tiny snails i found in my tropical tank.

Nothing new was added when they appeared. No clue how they got there.

They have been in there around four weeks now and are about the size of a small bit of gravel.

Sorry the pic isnt great.

They are all redish with a hint of blue at some views.

Any ideas?>?

It's some kind of ramshorn, I've got some a bit like that. Mine haven't grown very big and haven't taken over. They will eat plants if there are loads of them but in small numbers they won't do any harm. They could have been there from the beginning but unless there were loads you won't have noticed.

Thanks for that.

I have only seen the four. They come on the front of the tank after lights out.

I do have a few "nibbled" plants, never had this with the MTS so will this be the other snails?
