Please help me on finding deals for fish tanks #1
Hi the cheapest clearseal tank measuring 36 inches by 15 inches by 15 inches, new, without lid, I have found is priced at ?44.73

I haven't bought a clearseal before so was wondering if anyone here knows of a reliable place to get that size cheaper?? Is that a rip off? I don't want to look on ebay. Any help is greatly appreciated :P

Avoid postage, go to the lfs or P@H and order one. Better yest, trawl through the free ads, freecycle, ebay etc you can get a second hand bargain and that ?40 could cover the tank, stand, heater, airstone and filter too.

Re: Please help me on finding deals for fish tanks #4
I think it works out the same either way :'( If I order them from Pets at Home they cost 87 pounds each without lids, if I order them online they cost 44 each and then 80 for postage! I guess im just gona have to eat like, bread and butter or something! This is stupid! I've got a job, I've saved up, I'm not even being a spendaholic. I advise ANYONE I see now not to buy fish.

Do P@H have a price matching policy? If they do, get a formal quote from the online retailer, take it in, and see if they can match it (minus the delivery charge!) Best of luck!

I bought a Clear Seal tank from pets at home the other day and it was really cheap! I think you are looking at the next size up from the one I looked at. I looked at the price of that one and it's ?29.99. The hood was expensive I agree, I haven't bought one yet, going to look on ebay and through the BuySell.

Pets at home, perhaps not the best place to buy a fish generally, but they often do stock reasonably priced aquaria and supplies.

Whatever you go for try and get the tank from a lfs or p@h. It's the most important item and if anything is wrong with it you know you can take it back. You could always get the other stuff online. I know how you feel with the whole ebay thing.
