Fish are looking good there G, thats about optimum weight for the doradids and the firemouth, you can level it off now, theyve obviously got over the petshop experience are are going great guns. Gives me great faith the acara will be well looked after, as soon as Cli gets over her bad back and off to work again, i'll be posting it to you forthwith. I was holding back a little cos I wanted to make sure it was myco clear, plus of course the firemouths needed to grow a bit before being able to stand off the acara.

Re: some more picks #3
thanks bud ime very chuffed with the way its going ye thought it was time to level of with feeding and such but boy they can pack it away when it suet's them i might be moving the kribs out into their own tank soon as they arnt competing well for food and i fined ime distracting the fire mouths to one side of the aquaria and feeding the kribs at the other but the male caches their eye and makes a b line for them but i new this was a possibility and am prepared for it lol its funny whaching the invisible line wen the fire mouths and kribs spawn at the same time but the blue acara might well police the 2 pers patrolling the middle ground

Re: some more picks #4
Lol, probably just find the acara will kick the kribs out. Its probably tough enough to kick the firemouths out, but it will go for the softer target. Wouldnt like to lay odds on eggs surviving near an acaras, they eat guppies in the wild, let alone fry. Remember, basically a convict with a 30% temper reduction, and it likes a meatier diet.
