Project Ramses #1
After Project Apisto was finished, I'd always planned to start on Project Ramses. Stage one was complete with the addition of 5 Amazon Swords. I've now just completed Stage 2 - more decorative wood (mopani because it's all the pet shop had in).

Here's a few pics. . .

Re: Project Ramses #4
I'm aware that the A. Sword in Pic 3 isn't looking too healthy. Probably because of the 2 days it spent in a bucket steeped in Sterazin without food (not to mention the delivery). I'm waiting for the delivery of some root tabs to hopefully revive it.

Ramses himself is in Pics 1 & 3, but he shows much clearer in Pic 1 (although all you can see is his face).

Good luck spotting him

A sneaky pic of Ramses himself. (Just got this one before he had time to run and hide Please excuse the water marks )

Thanks Complecs Yes, you've spotted him. Well done As for the plant pots - rinse them, just in case they're dusty, and stick them in the tank Nothing else needs to be done. I usually rinse them in dechloronated water - just to be on the safe side (and because I'm paranoid )

Re: Project Ramses #10
Update (and note to LHG):

So far, Ramses' diet consists of jellied Brine Shrimp, Daphnia, and Bloodworm, freeze-dried Tubifex and the JMC pellets. He won't have flakes. He just spits them back out. So, while at the pet shop this morning getting the mopani wood now taking pride of place in the centre of the tank, I also bought Tetra crisps and freeze-dried white shrimp to try him with. The only other thing they had that's different to the things already on Ramses' menu is ants eggs.
