African dwarf frogs - genus Hymenochirus.
Small, basically totally aquatic, tropical frog, almost blind, hunts by sensing vibration and sense of smell. Generally best in quiet aquaria with lowish flow rates and good filtration, sometimes a decent cagemate for a betta or small schooling fish at low number. Tend to eat anything wormy, bloodworm, glassworm, blackworm, earthworms, brineshrimp, baby fish, and some, but not all, take flake. There are actually purpose designed diets, but again palateability is an issue.
If im perfectly honest with you, they do better in a species tank, since fish tend to throw them off target when it comes to hunting, and usually outcompete them, the commonest cause of death in ADF's is probably starvation, so you do have to make sure they are getting enough to eat.
If you like the thought of em a lot, maybe set up a lil 10 gallon with some plants, without fish, they might even breed for you. Frog tank should be cycled as is usual for fish. Quite easy to look after as long as youve got the feeding covered and dont expect them to necessarily like living with fish. Some respond to boisterous cagemates simply by waning, failing to feed and dying.
