New inhabitant spotted last night!..... #1
Hi all,

I was looking into my tank with all the lights off last night and noticed a slug on a rock

I decided to take a picture to show you all and also to ask if anyone knows if it's a certain kind.

Are there any "bad slugs" out there that might damge my corals??

Heres the little guy - it's just under an inch long

Hey there dan

these are stomatella.... they are actually snail with a flattened shell.... i would nt be surprised if you ge a big boom of they soon i did with my orca, i had in the region of 70....

quite kool to watch at night though as they scrurry to the highest point of the tank and spawn... a poof of white mist appears as they relaese the lov.. lol..

there all kool and no harm to tank... but may very be annoying as they can grow to vast numbers.. but soon die down..

Thanks Phil!!!

I'm not too sure how I feel about that - especially after researching them

I'll have to see how I go - It was great to find something new though!!!

I also have to get some of 'Joes Juice' caue I've got a Glass Anenome that's getting quite big.
