all setup, just one quick question #1
Well here's my tank :)
[img=http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/8821/mytankwa3.th.jpg]

it's crab-less atm as i cant get to my LFS atm :(

anyway, if you look to the back left you'll see i have a PennPlax Smallwolrd filter fed by a pump that has a "filtration unit with top quality carbon/zeolite for chemical filtration and foam block for mechanical and biological filtration".

My question is, is this ok lying sideways, it is fully submerged but the filters says top on one end?

i would move your pump so as its in the water then get some tubing to feed it into the trickle filter or you can get power heads to do this

this would do the job nicely

Looks great the only thing that i would say is to add a bit more water as sometimes the crabs do try and swim which is really funny.

Fill it just enough so it doesn't cover the top of the bogwood.

Also make aure that there are no holes in the hood. If they get out you'll never find them as they hit ground running.

Re: all setup, just one quick question #4
thanks both, i have been mulling over whether or not to top it up a bit, so if i get to see a crab trying to swim i may just go ahead :)

the filter is fully submerged and seems to be worknig ok for the time being so may invest in a pump for the trickle tray later.

only hole they could get out if is where the biowheel would sit but the exisiting pump is sat there atm :)

i'll post some pics when i get crabs (that sounds soooo wrong!)
