Pond plants - Floaters #1
Has anybody had problms with buying floaters I.E Hyacinths, waterchestnuts, and soldiers this season. Cant find a blessed thing anywhere

i havent seen many either

have u tried halls aquatic and garden centre? last time i went they had some, but dont know if they have anything atm

If you want water soldiers I would give Grosvenor Tropicals in Belfast a ring, I dont know if the do mail order but 2 years ago they were selling home grown 1ft dia soldiers for £3 or £4. Last year I was late and they only had 6"-8"ers left. I can see a couple of the biggies coming up in the fish pond.

Talking of water soldiers the one i bought last year split into two over winter and when i re did pond noticed that it has flower stalks on it.

Glovers in Stoke had only one oxygenator in! is there a pond plant crises me thinks!!
