Hiya, yes I have done. I had 2 ADF's in with a Betta and some Cories. One of the ADF's vanished off the face of the tank and was never seen again. The remaining ADF and the Betta got on great in that they didn't really pay much attention to each other at all. The Betta and the Cories, ahem, did not get on at all.
Just beware that ADF's have specific requirements for tank conditions and feeding so read the caresheet very carefully and do lots of research first

I did lots of research into this as liked the idea of having a few frogs in with my betta, but there are some stories of the betta biting the toes of the frogs, and because the frogs are slow moving and their vision isn't good, they can be prime targets.
I went for 5 panda cories in the end, and although it has worked out ok, I do see the betta chasing them aggressively now and then, and I'm thankful that they are fast movers and get away!
After trying the cories, I am of the opinion that bettas prefer to be alone.

Meant to say, you'd be best to have a 'back up' tank to transfer either into in the case of emergency, you just never know what you are going to get with a Betta and better safe than sorry!
