Spring is here & summers coming #1
If I wasnt an old seasoned sea dog I would advise all you would be pond keepers to gawk at this. But I am so I will start the thread.
Last years pond done well but when I got up & out just before easter I thought "time for a cleanout"
Years ago I would have got out the scrubbing brush & dettol, Taken out all the fish & cleaned every inch of dirt, weed & general muck. Polished the filter & put the fish back into a pristine environment.
Was I right?

No, you should have polished the fish, and re-painted the tadpoles

Not a bad suggestion I did notice that one of my fish had a touch of saprogenia so i polished the water instead.
Dont have any tadpoles just as they dont have snakes in ireland.
