Deffo the Vets for Oprah now...... :0( #1
Have just noticed she is developing a firm lump on her right side below her dorsal fin, towards her tail.
It does not appear to be hindering her at all but the area has pinecone scales coming.
She is not pineconed all over, just where this lump is appearing. She is also leaning slightly to the right.

Her fin is totally engulfed in fluff today.

Penfold is also slightly down today.

Peaches however, seems peachy.

Linz, this is soooo horrid.
Just as I think I am curing one thing, something else appears...

There is a reptile and aquatic specialist in my town which my regular vet suggested/referred me to.
It's the only way I can get her actually seen and gets the meds straight away.

Fingers and Toes crossed for you. I will be worrying about it at work tomorrow until I hear when you get back - assuming you can get an appointment tomorrow, hopefully you can.

If it's an aquatics specialist, and Jess asks for an emergency appointment, she should get one for the same day or so.

I am worrying myself sick about it.
God, she is leaning more....
Not constantly but more often.
She is still eating and not sat onthe bottom though.
She suspends herself in the middle of the tank and sort of swims on the spot is the only way I can describe it.

I will try and find the website of the place and post a link for you all to see.

Yes, I am hopefully taking her tomorrow. I will insist she goes tomorrow.
