Zebra Plec #1
I would really really like a pair of these. Now I know that they are probably one of the most sought after tropical fish ever but I was just wondering if anyone knew of a breeder/lfs/seller. They are the most beautiful fish I have ever seen and although they will cost me a small fortune I would really like to get my hands on them.

Does anyone on here have any that they are breeding at the moment?

keep an eye on ebay, as there are often plecs that pop up on there, you could also try aquarists-classified, they usually have loads of ads for plecs aswell.

here are a couple of listings.

Hope that helps you out. I want one too, but not really enough space.

Re: Zebra Plec #4
I was looking for Zebra Loaches the week before last and someone pointed me to:

http://www.tropicalfishfinder.co.uk

Which has a few results for zebra plecs. Although they seem to be several varience with that common name?

I also looked on pfk's store finder and phoned all the stores in a 30 mile radius. Sadly no luck but it might work for you.

Finally I was talking to the manager of a lfs as he was doing his order and mentioned that his staff told me they couldn't get them and they where there within 5 days.

Re: Zebra Plec #5
I was looking into getting a pair but since they are so rare it is extra-expensive to get a guaranteed male and female pair, one guy even quoted £500 for a pair. If you are going to breed them it's worth it because you can make the money back but if not I would wait until they are being comercially bred on a large scale!
