Hi All

Ok filter is processing 4pmm ammonia in 24 hours which is good. Nitrites so far though still off the scale. From experience these took a lot longer to establish in my Rio 180

For the tank itself. We have been thinking about it long and hard and we are going to go with a low tech highly planted tropical tank.

As much as I loved the fancies they limited what I could do with planting. Having to put Perky down was also a very unpleasant and sad experience.

I'm going to strip the tank down and start again once the filter has cycled. Will be using ADA Malaya as the main substrate.
