Red cap fantail at the moment :). Try increasing his protein intake (Bloodworm) several times a week,

I've read about them having bloodworm in their diet, how do you feed it to them? Do you have to prepare it any special way?

This more of a treat rather than an every day food, you can get bloodworm from the pet shop which can be a bit messy as it comes in a bag, or you can buy it frozen and stick it in the freezer just using a block at a time or freeze dried like in the picture

Sorry forgot to say that Jaws is a Calico fantail, these are lovely fish they have the blue Shubunkin colouring along with red and black
