Swanny, I'm feeding mine Mysis - Frozen stuff, they love it - especially the cleaner shrimp, makes him come right out - sure it would take it out of my hand given the chance

You can Try Chiltern Aquatics 3 mins from J12 M1.

Tank Only £130 stand £39.99

They do a deal for £200
Tank
50L RO
bag of Salt
Hydrometer
Live Sand
Live Bacteria

and about £30 worth of Lotions and Potions to "speed" Cycle your tank

I was in the Japanese Koi company in Henlow, Beds and was shocked to say they were flogging it for £160 and stand £60

Go and pick up this months Practical Fishkeeping and have a look through the adds in the back and call every shop nearby, im sure you'll be able to find it cheaper then that! Although that deal for £200 is not bad.

Re: Orca TL-450 #30
Hi all, well my TL450 has been up and running now since the end of Feb and my 6kg of live rock was added 03/03/07. The LR still has no signs of life which is worrying me but there are air bubbles on it which I believe is a good sign?

My reading are currently:

SG/ PPT 1.021
Nitrite 0
Ammonia 0.25
Nitrate 10
PH 7.8
Temperature 78

.....so im wondering if it is now time to add some inverts? If so how many and which would you personally recommend? I have hear turbo snails, hermits and peppermint shrimp are a good addition? My ph is on the low side even though I added a Hydor Koralia to increase circulation a few weeks ago. I live in a brand new house (3 months old) and i have read somewhere that this can make the ph too low due to fumes escaping from newly painted walls etc! This may be rubbish - any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Im considering replacing the bio balls and noodles with bits of broken LR as this apparantly does not realease as much nitrates back into the system? HAs anyone else done this?

Im hoping to add some inverts to my tank this weekend and also a little LR rubble - especially as my LR is disappointing so far with regards to the lack of life!

Hope you enjoy the pics - I would really appreciate your advice and thoughts on the above.
