Is this anything to worry about? .... #1
Is this anything to worry about? ....

Hi

I wonder if anyone could offer any advice on the current state of my Pearlscale Goldfish?

I woke up this morning to find that the fish had stopped being its usual active self and
instead was sat still at the bottom of my Biorb. It is still breathing and its eyes and fins are
still moving but it just seems odd that it doesn't want to explore the rest of the tank like it
usually does on its daily business.
Maybe it knows that Sunday is a rest day!?

Does anyone know what could be the problem?

I have had it 3 weeks now and my current feeding pattern has been 2 floating pellets every
three days (which I am happy to say it is has now eventually learnt to find and eat!)

Thank you very much for your time

biorbs are not designed for goldfish, goldfish need lots more water. Approx 45 litres per goldfish - that is the answer.

It was most probebly down to not cycling the biorb first so you most likely unknowingly poisoned the poor thing
