I'm sure this is normal, but #1
When I turn the lights on in my tank these little bugs about 3mm long scuttle inside the living rock. Does anyone know what they are?

worry not at this stage. That is the beauty of live rock - you do not know what you are geting with it...the wonders of nature!
If you want to control the bugs and worms that appear, then get a boxer shrimp they like to eat worms. Have a look at the caresheet section I'm sure there are a few fish that enjoy worms/bugs that won't go for any other bigger inverts etc.
