Re: pond snails #9
having re-read it a few times u didn't (now i feel stupid lol)

the blanket weed is only short at the moment about 1cm, but i could try and get some out or grow it in my tank (i wanna see if the loaches will eat it as well) in the spring/summer it grow to about a foot long (the blanket weed does)

Chris

are u ok, are u on something, u nut case

u feel stupid do u, haha, not u can see how the rest of us feel.

i just wanna try some with the snails, see if apples will eat it or the trumpets might, but apples dont eat live vegetation as a rule, the babies love moss though, dunno if they actually eat it or hide into, always in there though and the trumpets are hanging off the backing covered in hair algae, so i guess they eat that too.
Some fish may like it too, also may make good hiding places for fry, just an idea. Would i have to actually grow it in terms of planting or is it floating, if so what about lighting and the other plants?????????

Anyway i would like to try a bit if you have any spare.
