froggies are a calling #1
heard the first frog of the season calling this morning , no mating or spawn yet though. saw on the tv that quite a lot of country are reporting spawn, must have slow frogs in my part of the country

No frogspawn for me I think my cats have chased away all the frogs. I had 7 last summer so I thought I'd get some spawn for sure.

my work colleague has loads of frogs in her pond - apparently the noise is defening loads of spawn as well
We can only please one person a day, today is not your day and tomorrow doesn't look good either

well i will have upset the frogs now, i found the discharge pipe from the pump to the filter leaking, i had it cemented under the brickwork pond edging, so i have had to remove some of the bricks (hammer and chisel)to get at the pipe, have stopped the leak temporarily until i get new pipe.it didnt seem to bother the fish, dont know about the frogs though, they may take the huff and pack their bags and hop it to a quieter neighbourhood .
