Angelfish breeding! #1
My Angelfish have laid eggs on the side of the filter box, of all places!
They are fanning them and keeping other fish away.
However, I have two problems…I need to clean the filter and how do I keep the babies?

Unfortunately, if you need to remove the filter for cleaning the eggs will probably die due to being out of the water.

Raising fry in a community tank is unlikely to be successful as once they are free-swimming they will likely be eaten by the other fish in the tank. To stand a chance of success, the Angel pair need their own tank, but, be aware that finding homes can be difficult. When my Koi Angels bred I had over 100 babies to rehome!
