Emperor Tetra #1
Good evening.

About a month ago I have noticed that some of my fish have started to rub against the plants, upon examination I realised that some had few white spots on them. Kept looking and then saw the Emperors (who live at the back of the tank among the plants), they were covered with spots, fungus and two of them had Dropsy. I have managed to catch 4 out of the 8, put in another tank and treated both tanks with Esha 2000 and Exit. All the fish recovered but 1 who died.

My question is regarding one fish that had the Dropsy.
As you can see from the photos his L.H gills cover is not in a normal position, it seems as the gills are swollen or that there is a tumor or something, I have no idea what this can be. I have treated with gDEX but no change. The fish is still in quarantine but other than that is ok although hides most of the time and prefers no light.

Any suggestions and advice?

Thank you

Re: Emperor Tetra #4
Perhaps worth a course of eSHa 2000 (for possible ongoing bacterial infection) and eSHa gDEX (for ongoing gill problem) concurrently, given that problem is persistent.
