Re: Ich? #21
Can fish get spots on their eyes?!
My tetra seems to have something on its right eye. Can’t see it very clearly as it moves so quickly and I’m guessing it’s affecting its vision and it doesn’t want to turn the other way.
The eye isn’t bulging, but I can just make out a pale raised area at the top of the eye when the tetra turns diagonally to me…

I can't see anything amiss on the image. Spots on the eyes isn't a symptom I'm aware of, but could be an injury maybe?

Re: Ich? #23
Oh, perhaps! I hadn’t thought of that. He/she (?) does zoom around the tank at high speed and has had more than 1 collision with a Molly when going for the same bit of food.

It looks like a reflection on the eye in the photo (doesn’t help there’s a reflection on the tank in the same place) at the “2 o’clock” position. It doesn’t move with the light though - it’s more like a small clouded raised area, so a scuff would make sense. I’ll keep monitoring it.

Thank you again!
