Clown Loach #1
Hi I am looking for some help please my clown loach has developed bloating I've done a tank starve of 48 some have said do an Epsom salt bath which included taking the fish out with some tank water adding a bit of Epsom salt let the fish swim around for 20 mins then but back in tank but others have said no cause it is dangerous to the fish
I don't know what to do and wanna try and save it
I have 1 clown loach
2 synos
7 silver raspbora
2 yo yo
1 neon tetra
1 loach
1 yellow pleq

200litre tank heat at 25/26 water test is OK but due a half tank change

Firstly, are sure it has bloat and is not just fat? Clown loaches are extremely greedy and can get very fat. Secondly, please post actual test results for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH, gH and kH.

The people who I've asked regarding the fish have said it is bloated

I dont know how to attach a pic cause everything time I do it says error

I only use test paper strips

I use test strip the paper ones can't upload pic as it keeps saying error

Test strips are far from accurate. Once we know your actual results from liquid-based tests, we'll be able to advise further as those results will help us determine the appropriate course of action. [No need to add a photo if you can't - just type/dictate them into the post.]

I will have get a proper kit then as I didn't know this I thought test strip would be OK
