Can't believe I didn't think of doing that here is the result of my tap water test my tank water test for ammonia result is the same,if it's not ammonia making them flash what do think the likely suspect is ?

Well, that reads 0 as far as I'm concerned. As to the flashing, it's very hard to say. Do you have sand or gravel? Sometimes with sand, a grain or two can get under the scales and cause the fish to flash to get rid of it.

Here's my setup some of the fish are really hitting the filters quite hard ive had no deaths for 9 months I have treated for parasites and worms but no joy

If you've already treated for parasites I'm at a loss to explain the fluashing. If it's occasional and only one or two fish it may be nothing to worry about. I'd try turning the air pump off or repositioning the airstone against the back or side wall in case tiny bubbles are getting under their skin and irritating them.

Ok I'll move the air pump I'm taking 50ml of tank water to maidenhead aquatics for them to test the water I'm at a loss to should I retreat for parasites ?

You can give it a try. Which medication did you use last time?

I've tried kordens ich attack as I have black Venezuelan corydoras and Assisian snails and king Aqua care anti fungus and white spot neither worked first time around

I would try a treatment for skin and gill flukes. I believe Esah GDex is safe for snails (not all fluke treatments are)

Will it be safe for snails to ?
I've just tested the tap and tank water and both results say 0.25 ammonia so your right about the test kit not being reliable I'll try what you're recommending thanks again it's really appreciated
