hi ,I am new to this forum and it fact this is my first post,i feed spectrum food this has garlic added ,it is quite expensive but goes a long way . if you feed this food it is extremmly unlikely you will get whitespot

I keep discus and make my own food, some say garlic to a fish is like blood to a shark but tbh i have made it with and without and not seen any difference, you really would be better adding boiled spinach as it has more vitamins and iron

Good to know. I thought also about the possibility to feed them garlic but since most of you mentioned the ugly smell I will better not do it.

Yup....odd as it sounds, adding garlic can be a good way of persuading reluctant fish to eat.
