Umm, excuse me, we are talking about white spot disease, aka ich/Ichthyophthiriasis? It is a parasite. Stress will weaken the fish and give the little buggers a leg up but stress don't start ich. High nitrAte do not start ich. Parasites have to come from somewhere, new fish, new plants/ornament, cross-contamination with a sick tank, etc.

Have you treated the tank yet? You have to move fast and keep up the water changes or the ich will overwhelm your fish.

treating them today, doing a water change today, im not sure as the only resent thing in there was a lobster but she was put in there then 2weeks later i got white spot!! *im so confused tho*

I'm so sorry about your lose. Do you have any fish left in the tank? If yes then you must keep up the treatment and continue for another week even if you don't see any more white spots. Ich is very nasty is not controlled very quickly and very early.

i still have some and ill still treat them, dont wanna look down stairs now
