Finding a supply of wood offline so you can choose #1
Hi all, I’ve kept fish for years and now doing my first aquascape tank which I would like nice twisty wood in. When you watch USA videos they go to places that have huge bins full of rocks and different wood types to choose from - is there anywhere like that in the UK?
I’d really like to choose my own pieces - so ordering online is really hit and miss and it’s not a cheap purchase. Normal aquarium shops have one or two pieces where I’ve looked so far - double or treble the online price too.
Any ideas please? The 240 litre tank is empty till I’ve sourced this. Many thanks

Can't answer your question as I simply don't know. Online-wise, I like Pro-Shrimp, Aquarium Gardens and Aquaessentials - all have good customer service so possibly you could contact them and describe what you're looking for in order to get something as close as possible to that (or find out if you can visit if you're close enough). Otherwise, I think your best bet is browsing around local fish/aquarium shops.
